The Show: Old School Cycles

You have seen many shows on television these days about motorcycles. However, have you seen anything having to do with restoring vintage, old school, motorcycles? Probably not, until now. AB Video Services has recently produced “Old School Cycles”, a fast paced, fun, historic, look at how to fix up older bikes. The show includes the stories of three generations from one family, the friends and customers they deal with, and how they find and restore vintage motorcycles. AB Video Services is currently seeking distribution for this program. If you are interested in talking with the producers of "Old School Cycles" please visit the contact page.

The History of "HP Cycles" subject of the "Old School Cycles" Program

Dino has been riding motorcycles since he was four years old, and restored his first Harley when he was a teenager. During the 1980's, he started working for a shop called, Recycle Restoration, in New Hampshire. They were one of the first vintage motorcycle restoration shops in the world.

In the early 1990’s Recycle Restoration closed, and some of the customers started calling Dino to work on their bikes. Soon after that, Dino, with the help of his father, Dar, built a four car garage at his house, and started restoring vintage bikes. H.P. Cyles was officially open for business.

A couple of years later, they started to run out of space in the garage, so they bought some commercial property on Rte. 4 in South Berwick, ME. They built a 5000sq ft. building and designed it strickly for vintage motorcycle restoration. They now sit with a very large back log of work and are involved in all aspects of the restoration process, sales, service, parts, etc..
